What movies will be playing?
We realize when you are booking your class for a field trip to the movie theatre one of your main concerns is the movie title. At the time of your booking or reservation, we are able to tell you what films are scheduled to be released around the time of your visit, but we cannot guarantee a film will be showing at any specific theatre until all contracts with the film studios are finalized. These contracts are normally negotiated approximately two weeks prior to the movies release date. Due to film studio contracts, movies are subject to change without notice.
How long will a movie play?
Every Monday afternoon the film buyers review the prior weekend’s box office grosses and decide whether or not to “hold” a film or replace it with something new. Therefore, we can only answer this question from week to week.
We MUST have a “G” or “PG” rated movie. Will you have one showing the day we visit your theatre?
We cannot guarantee what will and will not be on screen more than two weeks in advance. We will try to accommodate your needs, but sometimes these family films are not available.
Can we have a special movie brought in for our field trip?
Yes! The cost for having a special print sent in for your students will vary between distributors. You may contact us with your request, and we will check with the distributor and get back to you on the cost.
How do I pay for our theatre rental?
Coming Attractions Theatres, Inc. will invoice your organization after they have attended the feature film and we have done the final count. (The final count done by our manager will stand - you may check with the theatre manager on the final count before you leave the theatre if you have any questions). Coming Attractions Theaters, Inc. accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, school checks or money orders for payment. Please do not attempt to pay for the feature at the time of the rental. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice, and not more than 30 days after the date of invoice. Purchase orders are accepted.
Do you offer a discount for concessions?
Yes! Coming Attractions Theatres offers a 24 oz. popcorn and 12 oz. soft drink combination from our concessions during theatre rentals at a discounted price. All other concession items are regularly priced. Please collect all monies and pay with cash or a business check at the time of purchase. If you would like to submit your exact order ahead of time to save time, we can have your combos ready upon your arrival.
What time will my movie start?
All movies will start on time regardless of any delays or conflicts experienced by the group. If you are purchasing concessions it is recommended you arrive thirty minutes prior to the start time. We highly recommend combos (with choice of drink) are ordered prior to coming so that they are ready upon your arrival. Soft drink choices are Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sierra Mist, and Root Beer.
